About the Role
The Carbon Consultant would join a leading business providing decarbonisation and energy services that help clients reach net zero goals.
The role requires site visits across the Southeast region, liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective survey execution for a wide range of clients across schools, hospitals, and business sites. The goal is to help them reduce their carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
* Be an experienced energy professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for sustainability. Responsibilities include conducting site decarbonisation surveys, providing energy performance assessments and recommendations, and carrying out display energy certification, energy performance certificates, and report generation.
* Have experience with calculations related to costs, savings, and carbon reduction. Ability to analyze energy data and produce reports using Excel and specialist software.
* Possess knowledge of building energy systems and modern energy technologies such as heat pumps, solar PV, and building management systems.
* Work towards gaining relevant accreditations if not already held.
* Ideally hold industry-relevant technical or environmental qualifications (e.g., EPC, ESOS, or qualifications to carry out and lodge DECs & RRs with a registered certification body).
