OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated housekeeper to join a high-quality residential development, supporting the delivery of a weing, safe and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.This role is key to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene are consistently achieved across allmunal and residential areas, enhancing the overall living experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out internal and external cleaning ofmunal areas, along with apartment cleans as required
2. Maintain the cleanliness of offices and residential units, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
3. Ensure all entrance areas are cleaned daily, including fixtures, fittings, handrails, and decorative features
4. Clean and maintain lift areas, ensuring all fixtures and interior surfaces are presentable
5. Inspect and clean all internalmunal spaces, including windows, ledges, doors, and skirting.
6. Conduct daily inspections ofmon areas (including stairways, corridors, passageways, and car parks) to identify cleanliness issues, maintenance concerns, or faults
7. Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners for both hard floors and carpets
8. Wash walls, woodwork, partitions, and surfaces using appropriate equipment, including reach-and-wash systems.
9. Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstery using the equipment provided
10. Carry out additional cleaning duties such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors when required
11. Use and maintain all personal protective equipment in line with health and safety requirements
12. Ensure all cleaning materials are used safely and inpliance with COSHH regulations
13. Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining appropriate stock levels and accurate records
Key Relationships
14. Internal: Site management team, including the Neighbourhood Manager and wider operational teams
15. External: Residents, guests, contractors, and third-party suppliers
About You
16. Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, ideally within residential or hospitality environments
17. Strong attention to detail andmitment to high standards
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. A proactive and reliable approach to work
20. Good understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH
