A SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities teacher is required for long-term supply cover at a SEND school in Exeter starting September 2022, supporting children in Key Stage 3.
The role involves delivering an engaging curriculum at a mix of KS2 and KS3 levels. The ideal candidate will be creative, caring, patient, resilient, and compassionate, working alongside a team of dedicated teaching assistants. The students have EHCPs for Autistic Spectrum Disorders, MLD, ADHD, and behavioral needs.
The school is well-regarded and supportive, with experienced leadership in a specialist setting.
Requirements:
* UK QTS with SEND experience
* Ability to follow the National Curriculum and deliver creative lessons
* Positive teaching approach
* Strong relationship-building skills with staff and pupils
* Excellent classroom management
