Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant with strong month-end experience looking for your next challenge?
Search has partnered on a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-million turnover business that's growing and investing in its finance function. This is a permanent, full-time position in Liverpool with hybrid working.
The Role:
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of month-end processes while ensuring accuracy across key financial tasks:
1. Month-End Duties - Running depreciation, updating fixed assets, prepayments and accruals, and preparing the monthly management accounts.
2. Ensuring all financial data is accurately inputted and ready for review.
3. Day-to-Day Accounts - Purchase & sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and general financial administration.
What We're Looking For:
1. Essential - Month-end experience in preparing management accounts.
2. Desirable - Xero knowledge (but easy to learn if not!)
3. Someone proactive who can work independently and take ownership of processes.
