The role
includes:
1. Vehicle cleaning and maintenance to exceptional standards
2. Removal and care of the deceased in line with strict procedures and sensitivity
3. Preparation of deceased (excluding embalming) and coffins
4. Pall-bearing and funeral driving duties
5. Maintaining sanitary and hygienic working environments
6. Accurate data entry and care record updates
7. Participation in out-of-hours call-out rota
8. Supporting families and care homes with professionalism and empathy
9. Adhering to GDPR and infection control policies
You’ll be someone who is:
10. Compassionate and considerate, with a natural ability to support grieving families
11. Emotionally stable able to handle sensitive situations with grace
12. Organised and proactive, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
13. Flexible and reliable, able to adapt to changing daily needs
14. Respectful and discreet always upholding the dignity of the deceased
15. Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and driving
A full, valid UK car driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
