✨ Key Responsibilities
*
Run weekly & monthly payrolls including wages, overtime, deductions and statutory payments.
*
Manage CIS returns and CIS suffered.
*
Handle auto-enrolment, pension uploads and redeclarations.
*
Maintain client relationships, respond to daily queries and manage a varied portfolio.
*
Liaise with HMRC to resolve payroll queries.
*
Oversee billing, debt chasing and banking tasks.
*
Process benefits-in-kind and work closely with internal teams.
🌟 Ideal Candidate Profile
*
4+ years payroll experience within an accountancy practice (essential).
*
Knowledge of BrightPay (highly desirable).
*
CIS understanding advantageous.
*
Strong grasp of statutory payments, NI, tax rules and payroll compliance.
*
Excellent communication, accuracy and organisation skills.
*
Confident resolving inconsistencies and handling sensitive matters professionally.
*
Proactive, client-focused and able to manage competing deadlines.
