Overview
Hire Desk Controller - Leeds - 42 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday. Based in the depot, the Hire Desk Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the entire hire process from order taking to delivery and collection, liaising with all depot teams to meet customer needs and satisfaction.
* Work desk-based with other departments; regularly liaise with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and ensure availability of equipment.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Adaptability
* Commitment to learn and develop
* Driving licence
* Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role
