We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our client working on a major project. You will be responsible for ensuring that works are properly organised, as well as monitoring and directing project execution through to completion. A key part of the role will be ensuring contractors deliver their duties within agreed timescales and budgets.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a project of national significance, with the chance to contribute to critical civil engineering and infrastructure works.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strong technical and project management abilities
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and their implementation
* Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
* Good understanding of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
* A Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Previous site-based experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
* Working on public highways, Groundworks, Earthworks or Drainage
* Working for previous Tier 1 main contractors on large infrastructure projects
