A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Hotel Xenia, Autograph Collection by Marriott. We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Restaurant & Bar Supervisor to service in our vibrant Italian restaurant and elegantly designed bar at our growing luxury boutique hotel.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant & Bar Supervisor will take charge of daily operations in our Italian Restaurant, focusing on delivering authentic hospitality and outstanding service. You will oversee a team committed to excellence, ensuring smooth coordination between restaurant, bar and kitchen, and a warm, memorable experience for every guest.
This role is ideal for someone who understands Italian culinary culture, has a strong grasp of wine and beverage pairing, and can contribute to a refined yet welcoming environment. Youll also bring a confident knowledge of cocktail service and bar operations, ensuring the bar complements the overall dining experience with flair and professionalism.
What we looking for
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a luxury hotel setting, ideally with a background in Italian or Mediterranean-style restaurants and a strong focus on high-quality food service and authentic guest engagement.
* Comfortable overseeing both restaurant and bar operations, with the ability to manage busy services, lead teams, and uphold high service standards.
* Commercially aware, with an ability to boost revenue through upselling, team coaching, and waste reduction.
* Passion for creating memorable dining experiences through attention to detail, warmth, and a love for Italian hospitality.
* High standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance in all areas of operation..
