Job Title: Finance Assistant (AR/AP)

Job Summary:
We are partnering with a fast-growing sportswear business in Guildford that is expanding its finance team. Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a Finance Assistant (AR/AP) to support the accounts function. This role is open to junior candidates or more experienced finance professionals seeking part-time work. The position offers broad exposure to the finance function and opportunities for development in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes efficiently
* Prepare and process invoices, payments, and reconciliations
* Assist with month-end and year-end reporting where required
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
* Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects and system improvements
* Use Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to manage transactions and reporting
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers/clients
Requirements:
* Experience in AR/AP or general finance administration
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Flexible approach to hours: suitable for full-time, part-time, or junior candidates
* Based in or willing to commute to Guildford
