Velonetic represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. Operating for over 20 years in the London market, we handle insurance and reinsurance business processing over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions. We are building a new digital platform to improve transaction and money movement efficiency, focusing on higher value activities. Our core services include checks on insurance documents, premium transactions, and claims processing.

Job Overview
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong insurance knowledge to develop their understanding of technical insurance wordings and the London Market Insurance landscape. A Professional Claims Adjuster works under a Team Manager, performing technical checks and processing various insurance documents for different clients and business classes. All work must meet quality and turnaround standards. Training will be provided for all necessary systems and documentation.
Responsibilities:
* Perform technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors, using IT systems with supervision as needed.
* Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries related to claims.
* Manage multiple claim files within handling authority, inputting details into databases for settlement and updates.
* Generate accurate reports on claims processing.
* Support team members and customers with complex technical issues.
* Provide training to team members and new hires.
* Contribute to innovation and process improvement projects.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills.
* Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
* Positive attitude and curiosity for continuous improvement.
* Good understanding of insurance wordings.
