* Conducting audits for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Preparing financial statements and audit reports with accuracy and precision.
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members during audit engagements.
* Maintaining and developing strong client relationships through effective communication.
* Identifying potential risks and providing practical solutions during audit processes.
* Collaborating with other teams to deliver comprehensive accounting and finance services.
* Keeping up-to-date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
* Assisting in the planning and execution of audit strategies for clients.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Senior should have:
* Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in auditing and financial statement preparation.
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.
* Proficiency in accounting software and tools. CCH (advantage not essential)
* A Full UK Driving licence and access to a car (transport) is essential due to office location
