Job Title: Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager (6 months FTC), Welwyn Garden City
We are seeking a Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager to join our finance team in Hemel Hempstead.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Transactional Finance, you will provide accurate and timely financial information to the pension scheme Trustees and act as a key contact for various stakeholders, including Pensions Secretary, Payroll, and Finance teams. This role offers the opportunity to influence finance perception and demonstrate the value of proactive management information.
Responsibilities
* Prepare Pension Scheme Trustee Reports & Statutory Accounts, ensuring compliance with SORP.
* Complete HMRC Returns and ONS Surveys within deadlines.
* Manage Financial Transactions, including overseeing transactions, supporting documentation, and maintaining pension scheme accounts.
* Provide FRS102 Calculations for companies with investments in the scheme.
* Manage Life Insurance Schemes and renewals.
* Ensure accurate Financial Accounting for Payroll, including reconciliation and correct deductions.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in pension scheme accounting is essential.
* Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable with meetings, calls, and written communication.
