A globally recognised investment bank is seeking an experienced SSA Trader to join its London-based Fixed Income trading desk. This is a strategic VP to Director level hire, targeting a driven individual with a strong understanding of EUR-denominated SSA markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and manage risk across EUR-denominated SSA products
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including central banks, asset managers, and bank treasuries
* Provide liquidity and pricing across core SSA issuers
* Collaborate closely with sales, research, and syndicate teams to support primary and secondary market activity
* Monitor market developments, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory impacts relevant to SSA markets
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years of SSA trading experience, with direct exposure to EUR books
* Strong understanding of global fixed income markets and regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, Basel III, etc.)
* Proactive, risk-aware mindset with strong pricing and execution skills
