Offer description

We’re looking for a part-time (22.5hrs per week) Planning and Delivery Executive to join our newly formed Planning and Delivery team in the Communications and Fundraising directorate. You’ll play a key role in delivering and shaping campaigns to support our strategy.

What it's like to work here

You will be part of the Planning and Programmes Team within a collaborative and supportive directorate. The team works closely with colleagues across marketing, communications, audience and engagement, creative, data and external suppliers to deliver joined-up campaigns. Ways of working are structured but flexible, with shared systems and processes that support consistency while allowing space for creativity and learning. There is a strong emphasis on working together, sharing insight, and supporting one another, particularly on larger or more complex pieces of work. The environment encourages curiosity, openness to different perspectives and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will plan and deliver communications and fundraising campaigns from initial commission through to evaluation. You will work with stakeholders to understand audience needs and organisational goals, translating these into practical campaign plans. You will manage delivery across channels, coordinate contributors, monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed. You will champion high standards of delivery and service, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and using agreed processes and systems. You will support a test-and-learn approach, capture learning and share insights to inform future campaigns. You may also provide support on larger or longer-term campaigns led by colleagues in the wider planning and delivery team.

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.

Who we're looking for

* Experience delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
* Account management or project management skills.
* Experience managing tasks and multiple stakeholders at any one time.
* Experience managing a set budget and delivering to budget.
* Good communication skills
* Ability to build good relationships internally and externally.
* Demonstrate problem solving skills.
* Demonstrate a good knowledge across the full mix of marketing and communications channels.
