Overview of the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior/Principal Engineer with experience in airfield geometric design to join our Transport Mobility Solutions (TMS) Division. The role focuses on developing design solutions across the project lifecycle, from concepts and feasibility plans to construction documentation, using the latest digital design methods. You will collaborate closely with Design Managers, engineers, planners and transport consultants to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable solutions.
Essential Skills
* Strong knowledge of airfield geometric design standards, including the RA 3500 series (DIO) and ICAO Annex 14
* Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for creating and maintaining 3D models for airfield and road design projects
* Collaborative experience with engineers and project managers to deliver project requirements
* Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and documentation
* Skilled at performing quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
Desirable Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience as a Civil 3D Modeller, preferably in airfield design projects
* Competency in Autodesk Civil 3D and other relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit)
* Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
