Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager
Join us at The Children's Society as an Assistant Shop Manager in Newquay. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, part-time (21 hours per week), including some holiday cover. The salary is £24,700 FTE, pro-rata £14,018.92.

Role Overview
You will work alongside the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager to drive sales, improve customer service, and support the shop's success. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and a positive, friendly approach. Creativity and community engagement are also valued.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in managing daily shop operations.
2. Support in driving sales and achieving targets.
3. Lead and motivate staff and volunteers.
4. Build relationships with the local community to increase support.
5. Ensure excellent customer service.
