Job Description
Post 1 x Permanent
Post 2 x Fixed Term (Maternity Leave Cover until 31/03/26)
Base location for both posts will be Aurora House, Clydebank.
West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership is offering exciting opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced social workers to join our Children and Families Social Work Teams.
The service is undergoing redesign to meet current national and international demands and complexities. We are developing teams that support staff in developing skills and expertise in child care, with training opportunities within a structured supervision and skills development framework.
Newly qualified social workers (NQSW) will receive support through local induction and the SSSC first supported year, including observational, mentoring, and experiential opportunities to support their initial year of employment.
We also offer an initial start pending qualification, moving to a social work post upon gaining confirmation of your social work degree.
For more experienced practitioners, we offer a competitive starting salary, opportunities for career progression, leadership and management courses, and routes to career development to utilize skills and knowledge creatively across the service.
If you would like to learn more, please call 0141 562 8800 to meet the child care teams.
