Senior Security Architect

At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an opening for a Senior Security Architect. We are looking for the following for successful candidates to join our expanding team.
Role responsibilities :
1. Architect solutions and technically lead their implementation, ensuring adherence to customer security policies and standards
2. Working closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop solutions
3. Assess security risks by identifying vulnerabilities and defining security requirements to address known and future threats
4. Develop, implement, and enforce security policy standards to ensure compliance with customer security and legal requirements
5. Provide assistance and support on architectural/technical issues to other team members as required, whilst sharing technical knowledge and experiences
6. Gain and maintain a working knowledge of the DXC Portfolio of Security Products and Services, promoting this with the customer and encouraging best fit solutions
7. Continually review and enhance existing knowledge of the security aspects of common product sets and technologies
8. Provide ‘soft’ consultancy skills and a proactive approach to gain the absolute trust of our customers
9. Participate in providing mentoring support and guidance to team members to help grow skills and capabilities
What you will bring to the team :
10. Desirable 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 year in a similar role relevant to security architecture
11. Knowledge in key areas of Information Security Technology, with experience in applying relevant controls appropriately
12. An understanding of Information Security Consultancy and experience working with clients to capture requirements and formulate solutions
13. Knowledge of security architectural and/or enterprise architectural frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF)
14. Delivering security architectures as part of a broader enterprise or IS/IT architecture
15. Ability to interpret and apply appropriate standards, policies, and legislation, e.g., PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, JSP 440, CESG IA Portfolio, ISO27001, etc
16. Understanding of threat and risk analysis methodologies/techniques and the interpretation/application of their output in the definition of security architecture
17. An understanding of security principles, technologies and industry standards and frameworks, such as the NIST.
18. Experience in solutioning and bid work
19. Experience with cloud and on-premises development and security requirements
20. Some industry or HMG security experience, depending on skill level
Desirable Skills and Technologies :
21. BSC and/or MSc in IT Security or related subject or relevant industry experience.
22. CompTIA Security+
23. Associate membership grade with CIISEC
24. ICS2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
25. CESG Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) in Security Architecture or Risk Management
26. Additional cloud security qualifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google
