You'll be based at the Outdoor Hub at Comer Woods and will be working outside. You'll work as part of a team to set up Comer Woods for summer, creating a festival feeling by installing bunting, flags, signage, interpretation and plenty of play equipment. You'll be looking after the presentation of the site facilities and ensuring they are clean and tidy at all times. During the summer holidays, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our visitors have the best possible experience and that our Summer of Play exceeds expectations.For this year's Summer of Play national programming event, we're dedicated to a fun and immersive experience, creating play zones across the meadow to ensure delight at every turn. During the weekdays, you'll be responsible for setting up and putting away the play equipment, checking it throughout the day and engaging with families on the many different play opportunities around the meadow and trails. You'll manage the borrowing of equipment and basic checks. You'll also work alongside our volunteer teams support the delivery of events. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property are clear and consistent.
