Senior Operations Manager Commercial Cleaning Location: Belfast (Field-based, covering multiple client sites across Northern Ireland) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (Depending on Experience) Benefits: Company Vehicle & Fuel Card, Laptop, Mobile, Pension Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent At Ryak Cleaning & Support Services, we are growing fast, and our portfolio of prestigious commercial contracts is expanding by the day. To support this momentum, we are looking for aSenior Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This is a true step up into field-based leadership. We need a highly visible, dynamic manager who loves being out on the ground, ensuring teams deliver our brand standards, and building genuine, trusted relationships with both our dedicated cleaning teams and our corporate clients. . This role has a lot of moving parts. You will be traveling between client sites and ensuring operations run flawlessly. No two days look the same and sudden variables are the norm. If you get overwhelmed by moving targets, this isn't for you. Key Responsibilities Management - Actively manage time, attendance and scheduling across all contracts. You will be the mastermind ensuring every single shift is 100% covered, adapting instantly to absences or short-notice changes. Leadership - Travel across multiple commercial client sites to conduct audits, maintain impeccable standards and provide visible leadership on the ground. People Management - Lead and mentor large, diverse cleaning teams and supervisors. You know how to motivate staff, build morale and handle workplace issues firmly and fairly. Client Relationships -Act as the trusted, primary point of contact for our clients. You will manage their expectations, solve their problems before they escalate and ensure absolute service satisfaction. Operational Agility -Seamlessly pivot between strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company policies across the board. Who You Are (Essential Criteria) We are looking for a reliable, highly adaptable professional with excellent emotional intelligence and organisational skills. Proven Multi-Site Experience. A solid track record managing teams and client accounts across multiple physical locations (ideally within commercial cleaning or facilities management). Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to manage, inspire, and hold people accountable. Flexible and adaptable. You remain calm under pressure when rotas shift and logistics get complicated. Confident using modern digital tools for tracking time and attendance, scheduling and generating reports. A full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential, alongside a willingness to travel daily between client accounts.
