Self-employed Core Delivery Driver
Our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in our operation, providing a reliable and committed delivery service across 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. With plenty of parcels to keep you busy, there is no better time to join Yodel.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and collect parcels to customers using the award-winning app with built-in route optimisation; liaise directly with customers to ensure successful deliveries.
* Plan your own route or use the app to plan and optimise routes to stay efficient.
* Work independently as a self-employed driver, with the backing of our expert team and a Yodel representative.
* Handle parcels up to 15 kg with care and keep accurate delivery records.
* Typically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour depending on area and experience, 6 days a week.
What you'll need to show us
* Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonne)
* A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
* iOS or Android smartphone
* Proof of own bank account
* A great attitude
Benefits
* Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typically, earnings between £18 - £20 per hour (paid per parcel).
* Daily & Weekly Payment Options: access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or join the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed deliveries.

We have plenty of parcels that need delivering and collecting from stores. Our parcels weigh up to 15 kg and can vary in size.
