Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their education? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Preston, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with relevant SEN experience, whether you're already working in schools or looking to move into a rewarding support role. While qualifications are desirable, experience working with SEN children is essential.
What you will be doing:
* Supporting children with SEN in class and during targeted interventions
* Assisting with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
* Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
* Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver high-quality support
* Providing a calm, patient, and positive presence in the classroom
What we're looking for:
* Experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
* Confidence working across EYFS to Year 6
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Flexibility to work full-time or part-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
