Description Senior Research and Information Officer | 8480 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £38,626 to £40,476 per annum (Scale J) | County Hall The Senior Research and Information Officer is the County Council's highway boundary expert! They will be confident in researching highway features utilising multiple resources from historic mapping through to current GIS products and relating those to the real-world environment on the ground. This research is used to determine and report the highway extent in a manner that is legally robust and can be communicated to stakeholders at all levels. The post holder will mentor and lead other highway research team members to ensure output is maintained at a consistently high standard and also manage the CON29 property search service. This is a challenging role, both parts of the team are in high demand but the work is interesting with no two days being the same.
