Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK. Our Power Unit is from Neuburg, and Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations. We seek individuals with an athlete's mindset, resilient and driven to overcome limits, to join this historic project at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.
Your mission
This role focuses on building a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business within a fast-paced, start-up environment. The Licensing & Merchandising Specialist will develop and manage licensing activities, collaborate with licensees and partners, and support merchandising efforts. The role requires adaptability, proactivity, and the ability to switch between strategic planning and operational tasks.
* Support the development and implementation of licensing strategies aligned with the brand and commercial goals.
* Manage the licensing process for branded products, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings.
* Negotiate and execute licensing agreements with mutually beneficial terms.
* Build and maintain relationships with licensees and partners to foster brand growth.
* Monitor licensed product performance and provide insights to optimize sales.
* Oversee merchandising back-office activities, including order processing and logistics coordination.
* Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or related field.
* 2-3 years of experience in licensing management, preferably in sports.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Understanding of licensing agreements, IP rights, and contracts.
* Excellent communication skills to influence at all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
* Passion for sports and understanding of consumer trends in sports merchandise.
* Proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
