Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Woking, Surrey Salary/Benefits: £25k - £36k Training & Benefits Our client is a leading name within Water Hygiene, who have a national presence and excellent reputation. Due to recently winning new contracts in the South East of England, they are seeking a motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a mix of commercial, local authority and public sector sites. Access to the M4 would be beneficial for easier travel to client premises. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits to the successful candidate. You will be covering sites across: Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Camberley, Bracknell, Reading, Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Southall, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Enfield, Cheshunt, St Albans, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Gravesend, Oxted, Redhill. Experience / Qualifications: - Will hold good experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established company - Fully versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines - Ideally, candidates will have experience and qualifications within plumbing / remedials, but this is not essential - Good literacy skills - Experienced completing reports using PDA and IT software - Strong client-facing skills The Role: - Attending PPM appointments to complete ACOP L8 duties - Cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks - Showerhead descales - Basic flushing on little used outlets - TMV servicing and replacements - Water sampling - Temperature monitoring - Chlorinations - Keeping up-to-date records of works undertaken Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Engineer, Legionella Technician, Water Treatment Operative, Environmental Service Technician, L8 Operative.
