Service Engineer Electrical Biased Merseyside Pharmaceutical & Medical £50,000 - £65,000 Commission We’re supporting a highly respected and successful engineering manufacturer who supply machinery into the pharmaceutical and medical industry. As part of their continued growth and global customer demand, they’re looking to appoint a Service Engineer (electrically biased) who can take a hands-on approach to installations, commissioning, IQ/OQ, and preventative maintenance across bespoke equipment. What You’ll Be Doing: * Attend customer sites across the UK and internationally (travel can be a choice of 30% to 50%) for installation, commissioning, service and support. * Execute FAT testing prior to dispatch at the UK facility. * Execute SAT at customer sites. * Collaborate with internal engineering teams (mechanical, EC&I) to deliver exceptional technical service and ensure quality standards are met. * Maintain documentation and contribute to equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ). * Respond to urgent service calls when needed, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction. * Support project teams on wiring/testing when not on-site. What You’ll Need: * A degree or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related field). * Previous experience in a similar technical service or commissioning role. * Exposure to working in or with regulated sectors (e.g. pharma/chemical). * Familiarity with CAD, control panel layouts and technical documentation. * A customer-focused mindset and ability to travel internationally at short notice.
