Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, process-driven and enthusiastic Paralegal to provide essential support to the Legal Team. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in a wide range of legal and administrative tasks, contributing directly to the smooth operation of the legal function.
Responsibilities:
* Contract Management:
* Assist with the drafting, review, and management of NDAs.
* Maintain and take responsibility for the contract database (Ironclad), ensuring accurate tracking of key terms, deadlines, and renewals.
* Maintain and update contract templates where necessary.
* Legal Documentation & Research:
* Conduct legal research on specific topics as required.
* Assist in the preparation of legal documents, presentations, and reports.
* Organise and maintain legal files and documentation on Legal team G-drive.
* Compliance & Regulatory Support:
* Support the implementation and maintenance of internal legal policies and procedures.
* Assist with regulatory filings and reporting as needed.
* Corporate Secretarial Duties:
* Assist with company secretarial tasks, including maintaining statutory registers, preparing board minutes, and filing documents with Companies House (training provided as needed).
* Administrative Support:
* Manage the legal team's calendar and scheduling.
* Process invoices and expenses for the legal team.
* Coordinate internal meetings and take minutes/ notes where needed.
* Support with legal team administrative tasks (both legal and privacy) as required.
* Project Support:
* Assist with ad-hoc legal projects as required.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes and workflows - involving AI wherever is possible and relevant.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, ideally within a commercial environment.
* A strong understanding of legal principles and procedures and contract Law.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
* Experience with contract management software or legal document management systems is desirable.
* A proactive and resourceful approach with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing organisation.
* A genuine interest in the technology sector and the legal challenges and opportunities it presents.
2 days office based in Gloucestershire HQ.
