We are seeking an experienced Children and Family Support Worker to work with children and young people who have experienced domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a variety of sessions to meet the needs of children, young people, and their mothers in refuge.
* Focus on strengthening family connections and promoting development, education, and socialisation.
About Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid
For over 40 years, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid has supported women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse. We are the region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, providing services such as a helpline, webchat, drop-in support, community outreach, and emergency accommodation across six refuges.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and the wider community, offering tailored support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. We also provide training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals to raise awareness about gender-based violence.
