Job Specific Requirements
* This is a short-term project role supporting one of Cardiff Council's key data integration projects. We are seeking a capable and organised individual confident in the use of Microsoft Office and able to undertake data entry and basic data analysis.
* As part of this project, a large dataset is in need of cleansing: identifying a recording data errors, and correcting them. For example, locating spelling errors in names, or invalid dates of birth etc.
* Training and support will be provided throughout on how to use/navigate the required systems and how to make the data corrections.
* The successful individual will have the opportunity to work from County Hall, Cardiff Bat, or work from home; a laptop will be provided. Working Hours are between 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week.
Experience of using computers / laptops, including logging on and navigating around applications
Experience of analysing basic data sources
Experience of working within the public and third sector.
Experience of recording progress / how many records per day have been updated
