Adult Services (LD & ASD) provide a range of high‑quality care and support for adults with learning disability, autistic adults and adults with complex needs. The services include Supported Living Service; Supported Vocational Activity Service (Eric Gray @ Seafield); Short Breaks and Respite Service (Newcraigielea); and Assertive Community Transition (ACT) Service.
Role Summary
The Senior Social Care Worker – Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that individuals receive high standards of care and support in accordance with relevant legislation and national guidance. The supervisor supports individuals in a variety of settings, promoting independence, strengths, skills and community engagement.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate registration and statutory duties.
* Provide guidance and support to staff and service users to achieve best practice in person‑centred care.
* Lead and manage service delivery within the Senior Social Care Worker role, overseeing quality and safety.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support individuals’ well‑being and community participation.

* This post is not career graded.
* Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,997 per annum.
* Permanent Full Time post for 37.0 Hours per Week, 52.18 weeks per year.
* Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
* The successful candidate will have to complete registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when they begin in post.
* A relocation package does not apply to this post.
