Job Description
3. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
4. Maintain General Ledger integrity and review for discrepancies.
5. Perform monthly reconciliations and budget variance analysis.
6. Consolidate results into HFM and manage subledgers efficiently.
7. Prepare VAT returns for multiple UK entities and serve as the point of contact for VAT queries.
8. Maintain comprehensive company accounts, tracking all transactions and assets.
9. Support financial controls and compliance, including US GAAP and SOX standards.
10. Perform additional duties as required, contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
11. Newly qualified or finalist status in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
15. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
