Children and Young People PractitionerLocation: CoventrySalary: £12,602Contract: 12 month-contract / Part time Hours: 18.5 hours per week About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Children and Young People Practitioner to support children and young adults affected by domestic abuse. This role involves managing a caseload, providing direct support, developing projects, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure inclusive, culturally sensitive services.Key Responsibilities:Deliver tailored support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse.Manage caseloads, carry out risk assessments, and develop safety plans.Work within safeguarding frameworks for children and vulnerable adults.Develop and facilitate community-based projects with input from children and young people.Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and organisational policies.Contribute to service development, evaluation, and continuous improvement.Empower children, young people, and families to build resilience, confidence, and independence.Person Specification:Qualifications and Experience:Degree or professional qualification in social work, health, education, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting BAME communities and/or domestic abuse survivors.Experience in social care, welfare, or safeguarding children and young adults.Skills and Competencies:Ability to work safely with vulnerable people, including risk assessment, safety planning, and confidentiality procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both v
