An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified & accredited Clinical Perfusionist to join the Perfusion team at the Sussex Cardiac Centre.
* Liaise with senior perfusion staff daily for responsibilities.
* Monitor and evaluate service delivery within the team and report to senior staff.
* Supervise trainee clinical perfusionists.
* Respond flexibly to environmental demands, including workload, emergencies, deadlines, and multi-area working.
* Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.
* Hold current accreditation with SCPS and registration with CCPS; applications not meeting these will not be considered.
* Familiarity with Spectrum Quantum HLM's is advantageous; full training provided.
As a qualified/accredited autonomous practitioner, you will provide clinical perfusion services, manage extracorporeal circuits, circulatory support devices, and blood conservation equipment, work as part of a multidisciplinary team during routine and emergency procedures, and participate in a 24-hour on-call service.
