HR GO are looking for an experienced Mailing & Fulfilment Supervisor to join a well established operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality internal and external mailing and fulfilment services for our client and oversee a small team of permanent and temporary staff.
Job Purpose:
To manage internal and external mailing and fulfilment services, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance.
To identify and implement best practice solutions that deliver cost-effective and market-competitive facilities.
The job will involve both client and supplier facing contact.
To manage a permanent small team base and resource accordingly.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To review and establish best practice procedures and liaise with internal account management teams / clients.
Keep up to date with Royal Mail / carriers rules, regulations and tariffs.
To establish robust administrative procedures and documentation.
Data management, involving mail merging.
Management and monitoring of 3rd party mailing houses and relevant suppliers.
Quality control procedures to ensure outstanding customer service.
Management reporting.
Account management responsibilities.
Responsibility for all pricing and quoting of jobs through to invoice.
Experience
Minimum two years experience in mailing, fulfilment and logistics management, including experience managing teams and supplier relationships.
Proven experience in managing people, processes, or projects.
Proficient in data management and reporting.
Strong ability to manage pricing, quoting and invoicing processes.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel)
A flexible and proactive attitude.For the successful applicant this will be a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday usually between day shifts of 8am - 5pm.
