Plus, we have kitchens across London to ensure our guests can enjoy our food at home!
As well as running busy sites with large teams, we also engage in various community initiatives, from planting trees with our teams in the UK & India to helping feed children through Meal for a Meal. Since January 2024, we have donated 20 million meals and counting, with each Dishoomwalle contributing to 55 meals per shift!

What to expect:
* £37,000-£42,000 per year inclusive of tronc, paid monthly
* Full-time role across 5 days, with Monday-Sunday availability
* Varied daytime and evening shifts at our all-day dining cafes
* Access to award-winning training programs and support, with 211 Dishoomwalles promoted last year
* Paid holiday entitlement, including time off on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, plus an extra day for parents to take children to school
* No uniforms—smart casual and trainers are fine

We believe in contributing positively to the world, caring for our guests and team members alike. We seek a Senior Assistant Manager/Restaurant Floor Manager to join our Birmingham cafe, which honors the history of India’s non-cooperation movement of the 1920s and Bombay’s Swadeshi Market.
Our managers are vital to our success, managing circa 5,000 covers per week, overseeing demanding shifts, and leading large teams to deliver first-class service with genuine hospitality. During busy evenings, support from other Babus and 20-30 Dishoomwalles ensures smooth operations and high standards. You are empowered to do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
