As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain high standards daily. From motivating your team to managing the shop floor, you’ll ensure our store operates smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This role offers opportunities for leadership and career growth.
In return, we offer a competitive hourly pay rate, an extra £2.00 per hour for bank holiday work, £3.50 per hour for night shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being.

Responsibilities include:
1. Motivate and support your team, adhering to our Leadership and Company Principles.
2. Quickly solve problems and delegate tasks effectively.
3. Create a positive environment for colleagues to succeed.
4. Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
5. Oversee freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts.
6. Deliver excellent customer service on every visit.
Requirements:
1. Experience leading a team in a busy, fast-paced setting.
2. Ability to delegate tasks and motivate others.
3. Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
4. Passion for teamwork and store success.
5. Proactive approach to team development and store operations.
