The Fire Suppression Company is a specialist team that designs, supplies, installs, and maintains Residential Water Mist Systems and Residential Fire Sprinkler Systems. Based in the North West and operating nationwide, we provide bespoke services to our clients, adhering to industry standards BS8458:2015, BS9251:2021, and BS9990:2015. Through our sister company VOCA Fire Protection, we also supply, install, and service fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Estimator based in Wigan, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Estimator will be responsible for preparing project estimates, developing business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring accurate project costing and sales activities. For the right candidate, this opportunity will lead in to a management role to develop a team of Sales/Estimator Engineers.

* Experience in Project Estimation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience in the fire suppression industry is a plus
* Ability to work independently and in a team
What we\'re looking for
* Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience in fire suppression, fire protection, or M&E.
* Residential experience preferred – commercial can be trained for the right candidate.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire suppression systems.
* In-depth knowledge of BS 9251 and BS EN 12845 highly desirable.
* Must have AutoCAD or Revit experience.
* Commercial awareness, excellent organisation, and strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with negotiation skills.
