The ideal candidate will create an exceptional visitor experience by welcoming guests, managing venue entry, and Duty Managing events in the Howard Assembly Room. Responsibilities will include sales (using our CRM system Spektrix), customer communications, and working collaboratively with the Front of House and Technical teams to ensure the smooth and safe running of events. Shift patterns will be across evenings and weekends as a priority. This role plays an essential part in shaping a vibrant, welcoming arts venue in the heart of Leeds. Key accountabilities: Give a warm welcome and engage with visitors, ensuring they feel valued and appropriately supported throughout their visit to the Howard Assembly Room. Respond to customer queries promptly, providing clear and helpful information. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the venue, events, and products to confidently inform visitors and recommend additional services where appropriate. Proactively supporting the team to promote and sell tickets, memberships, and upsell any additional items such as programmes or merchandise. Operate the Box Office Counter including show reports, sales summaries and any other appropriate reporting as requested by the Box Office management team. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all tasks are completed effectively. Take initiative by identifying and completing tasks that support the smooth running of the venue. Attend Front of House briefings and provide up to date information about the event.
