Data Protection Manager - 6 month fixed term contract (Annual salary is £55,000)
A household name in the rail sector is looking to hire an exceptional Data Protection Manager to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract. There may be potential to extend and be part of a different rail company, but this is not guaranteed at this point.
You’ll lead on data privacy guidance across the organisation, conduct DPIA’s, respond to all data protection related queries and support projects providing expert advice to the business.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee data protection across the business reporting into the Head of Compliance and Group DPO.
* Manage DSARs, CCTV requests, conduct DPIAs, privacy-by-design, and report to the board on data protection developments.
* Be the point of contact/SME for all things data protection internally.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience working in data protection, with prior experience working in data protection in-house.
* Ability to work independently and manage projects.
* 2 days a week in central Manchester offices (Manchester Piccaddilly Station/Manchester Oxford Road Station)
