We currently have opportunities for Production Operatives within our Prep department to join our team in Thetford. This is a physical role with regular movement, bending, and lifting.
This is a 4on 4off Rota.
The rate of pay is:
Days 0600 - 1800 - £13.24 per hour
Nights 1800 - 0600 - £14.56 including 10% Night Allowance between 10pm and 6am
Main Responsibilities:
Supporting the Senior FLM to ensure a constant, smooth, safe, and efficient factory operation in order to deliver the production plan within agreed budgetary and service levels. To ensure that product processed in the area is to the highest possible quality and is aligned with our Food Safety Standards, adhering to quality and product specification.
* Actively promote and support Senior FLM to embed a Health and Safety culture.
* Ensuring GMP is at ‘green’ level at all times.
* Monitor and drive effective foreign body and quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Adhere to waste segregation rules.
* Assist Senior FLM to ensure that water usage is kept to a minimum.
* Adhere to the company floor policy so pallets are removed constantly from the prep area.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Self-motivated and highly resilient. Able to deal with colleagues across all areas of the business.
* A physically fit individual, happy and able to work in an active role.
* Organised, motivated, and reliable.
* Good level of verbal and written communication as well as numeric accuracy.
