SR2 are supporting a government programme and seeking an experienced DV-Cleared Cloud Engineer to work within a highly secure environment on complex, large-scale cloud-native systems. This role suits an engineer with strong automation, AWS, and containerisation experience who can operate confidently in multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Automate application and infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment within a secure environment.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimisation and cloud engineering best practice.
* Apply strong security principles across cloud and containerised workloads.
* Work collaboratively as part of an Agile/Scrum, cross-functional engineering team.
* Support continuous improvement across tooling, processes, and delivery approaches.
Essential Experience
* Proven Cloud/DevOps engineering experience in secure or complex environments.
* AWS (CloudFormation, ECS; AWS Developer Tools an advantage).
* Docker and Kubernetes.
* CI/CD automation (ideally DroneCI).
* Git (GitHub or GitLab).
* Advanced Linux administration and Bash Scripting.
* Ansible.
* Strong understanding of security best practice (eg, mTLS, security groups, HTTP security headers).
* Confident working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams with strong communication skills.

Active DV clearance is essential for this position.
