Site Inventory Controller – 3 Month Secondment Coryton Full-time We have an exciting 3-month secondment opportunity for a Site Inventory Controller based at our Coryton site. This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in inventory control, materials planning and site operations, while working closely with both local and central stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant inventory management across the site, supporting production and maintenance plans, and driving continuous improvement within stores operations. What You’ll Be Doing Controlling site inventory in line with Calor policies and procedures Managing goods receiving and issuing through the ERP system Maintaining safe, organised and compliant stores facilities Working closely with the Central Materials Planning Team to provide local insight, data and operational support Raising purchase and stock transfer requisitions to maintain appropriate stock levels Completing stock checks, investigating discrepancies and identifying root causes Supporting tank movements in line with the Tank Movement policy (where applicable) Troubleshooting ERP system issues to support site production and maintenance plans Driving continuous improvement across stores facilities and inventory processes What We’re Looking For An understanding of MRP processes and experience managing stores inventory Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively Confidence in providing instruction, setting standards and working with minimal supervision Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships Good IT capability across multiple systems and applications Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities Why Apply?
