Learning & Development Partner Hybrid | Regional role | Strategic L&D leadership Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional who thrives on influence, challenge, and real-world impact? Were looking for a Learning & Development Partner to act as the strategic L&D lead for an operational region.This is not a delivery-heavy trainer role its a true partnering position, working at pace with senior operational and clinical leaders to shape capability, performance, and learning quality across complex services. The opportunityYoull own and deliver a regionally aligned learning strategy, working closely with Regional Service Directors, Operations Directors, Quality and Clinical leaders to ensure learning activity is risk-based, future-focused, and genuinely improves outcomes. Youll bring discipline, consistency, and professional L&D oversight while still being pragmatic about what works on the ground. What youll be doing Creating and owning a single annual regional learning plan, aligned to operational priorities, regulatory requirements, workforce risk and capability gaps Acting as the strategic L&D partner to regional leadership teams, influencing decisions and priorities Monitoring delivery and impact of learning activity, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Quality assuring training delivery observing sessions, coaching facilitators, and ensuring consistency and accuracy Feeding insight and intelligence into the central L&D curriculum and portfolio, shaping future strategy Using data, feedback, and performance indicators to evaluate whats landing and what isnt What were looking for CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (or equivalent) Strong understanding of adult learning principles, L&D governance, and Learning Needs Analysis Experience working in complex, regulated environments (healthcare highly desirable) Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted internal consultant Confidence working across multiple sites or regions, balancing competing priorities Analytical mindset comfortable using data to drive decisions and improvement Why this role stands out High autonomy and visibility Strategic influence without line management burden Real scope to shape learning quality and culture at scale Hybrid working with meaningful regional engagement If youre motivated by impact over activity, and you want your work to genuinely improve capability, safety, and performance, this is a role where youll be heard, trusted, and relied upon.
