Accounts Assistant (Temporary – D365 Business Central)Manchester (Hybrid Working)

We are currently working with a well-established organisation in Manchester who are seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support their finance team during a busy year-end period. Following the recent implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the team requires a confident and detail-focused individual to assist with data accuracy, reconciliations, and general finance administration.
The Role:This is a hands-on position where you will play a key role in ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date ahead of year-end reporting.Key responsibilities will include:
1. Processing and maintaining financial data within Dynamics 365 Business Central
2. Reconciling data across systems and investigating discrepancies
3. Supporting the finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks
4. Assisting with ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth departmental operations
5. Preparing and cleansing records in readiness for year-end close
The Candidate:The successful candidate will have -
6. Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance position
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
8. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
9. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
10. A proactive, self-sufficient approach and ability to work independently
