This work primarily focuses on projects within Titanic Quarter and the Greater Clarendon Area (City Quays, Clarendon Wharf) but also extends to strategic business areas such as logistics warehousing throughout the estate. The successful candidate will work alongside the Development team in identifying and developing opportunities, which will result in sustainable growth of Belfast Harbour's property, and operating business portfolio. The Development Surveyor will assist the Development Manager with the progression of projects from feasibility to statutory approvals, Board review and ultimate delivery. Key Responsibilities Assist in Scheme Feasibility exercises Assist in Planning & Design to support Negotiations and Collaboration with a range of Stakeholders Preparation and Amendment of Development Appraisals Work with BHCs Property & Place Team (Asset Management) where required to maximise temporary Income and obtain Vacant Possession Assist in the procurement, appointment and Coordination of Consultancy / Design Team members Contribute to work towards Submission of Planning Application including Pre-Application Meetings and Public Consultations Personnel Specification: This is a challenging and rewarding role that will require commitment, enthusiasm, and skill to implement an ambitious development strategy. Essential Criteria Educated to degree level in a Property Development related discipline. Full membership of RICS or Chartered Institute of Town Planning, status or relevant equivalent professional qualification. A minimum of three years' experience post gaining Charted status within the field of Property Development or similar role. Demonstrable evidence of using development knowledge and experience to assist in progressing development opportunities. Broad experience and knowledge of the Belfast market with a focus across residential and commercial sectors. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages. Use of networks to enhance CPD and development best practice knowledge. Driving licence Desirable Criteria Experience of both the developer and client side of property development. Knowledge and experience of ARGUS Developer Software and/or similar development software including excel. Experience of the end-to-end process of property development.
