Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV driver looking for reliable, ongoing day work? Recruit A Driver is partnering with a well-established client in Huddersfield to recruit a dependable Class 2 Day Driver for local multi-drop deliveries.
* Location: Huddersfield
* Start Time: 6:30 AM
* Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
* Hours: Monday to Friday, consistent day shifts
Role Overview:
As a Class 2 Day Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of palletized goods across local commercial sites, farms, and residential addresses. The role typically involves up to 15 drops per day, using a tail lift and electric pump truck to unload pallets.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 2 licence held for at least 12 months
* Recent Class 2 driving experience (minimum 6 months, ideally 12 months)
* Clean driving record (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
* Valid Digital Tachograph card
