Recognized as a technical authority within the business, they require basic commercial awareness. The role involves guiding, influencing, and convincing colleagues and external customers through developed communication and diplomacy skills, impacting the area through complex deliverables. The officer provides advice related to technology or operations, affecting overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function or job family.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and oversee operational risk policies, technology, tools, and governance processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, controls, and emerging risks.
* Identify emerging risks and threats, and specify areas for operational and analytic improvements.
* Monitor fraud controls and procedures to enhance customer experience, fraud detection, and operational costs.
* Develop business cases for operational and technological enhancements.
* Collaborate with risk, audit, and compliance teams to evaluate fraud controls.
* Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
* Influence others through strong communication and diplomacy skills.
* Manage projects like 3D Secure internet loss channel and liaise across business lines.
* Represent fraud prevention interests on major projects and act as SME to stakeholders and team members.
* Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards, and report control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
* 6-10 years of fraud-related experience, preferred.
* Experience in bankcard fraud management or investigations.
* Strong data analysis, project management, and communication skills.
* Ability to understand business processes and risks, and to identify control issues.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Details:
Experience with 3D Secure and understanding of card operations policies are preferred. The role is full-time, based at 5800 South Corporate Place, with a salary range of $97,000 to $146,000.
