The role
is based in the City of Exeter.
You will be working at the forefront of the business with daily interaction with our student customers. Other duties include (but not subject to)
1. Provide high standard repairs, maintenance and decorating across a portfolio of high-quality student houses.
2. Complete planned and reactive maintenance works within the property budget.
3. Undertake periodic health & safety checks and property inspections.
4. Carry out statutory compliance inspections if required.
5. Ensuring the security and general appearance of the properties and gardens are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
6. Managing maintenance and any third-party contractor works to a consistently high standard.
7. Energy and utility management including meter reading and broadband service management.
8. Assisting with ad-hoc jobs such as delivering keys, assisting tenants that are locked out.
9. Basic seasonal garden maintenance.
This is a busy, varied and hands on role. To be considered for this role and a possible interview, you need to have experience & skills in the following:
10. Experience of completing repairs and planned maintenance in student/HMO housing.
11. Experience in internal and external painting.
12. Some experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and decoration desirable.
13. Undertaking periodic health & safety and statutory compliance testing.
14. Broadband & TV issue diagnosis.
15. Excellent communication & customer service skills and enjoys problem solving.
16. Able to diagnose & complete cost-effective repairs in a fast-paced environment.
17. Proactive, positive attitude and able to work under own initiative.
18. Strong IT skills with the ability use IOS on iPhone and iPad and experience with Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
19. Strong organisation and time management with a good attention to detail.
