Staff Nurse Band 6 (16hrs/week)

Secondment from within Gynaecology or temporary contract to cover maternity leave from May 2026 for 9 months
The Pregnancy Support Centre is a nurse led unit, caring for women, who experience difficulties in the first trimester of pregnancy. This post offers the opportunity for a motivated nurse to join an enthusiastic team, in providing the highest standard of care to women and their partners, at a difficult time.
We are seeking an exceptional nurse. One with both the compassion needed to care for those bereaved and with the experience and confidence to practice autonomously in many extended roles. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake training in nurse consent. The ability to lead the nursing team and coordinate the multidisciplinary team in discussion of complex cases is necessary.
Experience within a nurse led early pregnancy service is desirable.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
